“Southampton is such a great city for students! It’s got this amazing blend of history – you can literally walk on medieval walls – and then you turn a corner and there’s a massive shopping centre or a really cool independent restaurant. The nightlife is brilliant, there’s always something going on, whether it’s live music or a club night. Plus, being so close to the coast and the New Forest means there are loads of easy escapes for a bit of fresh air. It feels big enough to have everything you need, but not overwhelming. Both universities bring so much energy, and everyone is super friendly. I wouldn’t trade my time here for anything, it’s been fantastic.” (Third year student, University of Southampton)
