“I honestly chose Lincoln because of its stunning cathedral and castle, but I’ve stayed because of the amazing student life! The University of Lincoln campus is so modern and right on the Brayford Pool, which makes it feel really vibrant. It’s a city where you can literally walk past Roman ruins on your way to a lecture. Everyone is super friendly, and because it’s a smaller city, you quickly feel like part of a community. The nightlife is great, and there are loads of independent places, especially up Steep Hill. Plus, it’s really affordable compared to bigger cities, which is a massive bonus. It’s got a magical, historic feel but with all the buzz of a modern student city.”
