“Coming to Guildford was one of the best decisions I made. The University of Surrey has fantastic facilities, and the campus feels really welcoming, but the town itself is just beautiful. I love being able to walk down the cobbled High Street with all its historic buildings, and then just a few minutes later, I’m out in the Surrey Hills for a proper breath of fresh air. It feels safe, friendly, and even though it’s pricier than some student towns, the quality of life and the ease of getting into London make it totally worth it. There’s a good balance of chilled-out pubs and lively student nights, and I’ve met some amazing people here. It’s truly a hidden gem for students.” (Second year student, University of Surrey)
